For most of the USDA nutrient data, CyberSoft used the Protein, Carbohydrate, and Fat conversion factors provided by the Nutrient Data Laboratories. This occasionally results in percentages that do not total 100%.

For USDA nutrient data for "formulated foods" (items with multiple ingredients), CyberSoft used the 4-4-9 method to calculate the six values above.

For non-USDA brand name and restaurant foods, CyberSoft used the compensated 4-4-9 method.

System Requirements:
All versions of NutriBase require a PC running Windows 98, Windows Me, Windows XP, Windows 2000, Windows NT, or Windows Vista. 1 Gbyte of RAM or more is recommended. No Mac versions are available but you can run NutriBase (and other Windows programs) on a Mac if you are running a Windows Emulator software package (like Virtual PC) or if you have a dual boot (Boot Camp) Mac with Windows installed.
